Our team consists of over 30 skilled and experienced civil workers, operators, licenced electricians, linesman, fibre technicians, foreman and operators dedicated to excellence.

GNB Energy offers easy and reliable Pole Hold solutions for civil works projects across Queensland. In our fleet we have 2 borer lifters capable of pole holds/grabs while civil works are carried out.

When is a pole hold needed?

Pole holds are required where civil works are being carried out around power poles. A report from a Certified Structural Engineer is required when poles have active HV connections. GNB Energy can advise on what is required for your project on a job to job basis.

Who can legally provide a pole hold?

Only Energex and Ergon rated contractors can legally provide pole holds on Energex Power poles. Authorised Energex personnel are not authorised to hold Energex assets.
